Foundations I

HI-5310 Foundations of Health Information Science I is a survey of most areas of interest to Biomedical/Health Informaticians, starting with what Health Informatics actually is. 

Like most classes at SHIS, Foundations I requires instructor consent. Please contact me through my University email. You may take the class for a Pass/Fail or for a letter grade. I evaluate each of these differently. Please specify your intentions when you request consent. The class covers the following topics:
